November 14th, 2023

Roles:

Chair: Casey Chipp - Parent

Vice Chair: Anthony Weitzeil - Parent

Secretary: Mike Ivey- Teacher

Attendance: Anthony Weitzeil, Monica Widdison, Angie Snowden, Hugh Mouritsen, Casey Chipp, Sarah Lyons, Megan Smith, Kristie Herzog, Monica Thoma, Chance Adams, Mike Ivey, Abby Byrum (online)

Agenda Items:

  1. Welcome -  Casey Chipp

Motion to elect Mike Ivey as secretary; second by Sarah Lyons; all agreed

  1. Minutes Approval - Casey Chipp

Anthony motioned to approve; all approved

  1. Internet Safety Training - Alan Rhees/Monica Widdison

AI allowed for teachers and admin, blocked for students.

Nearpod renewed for another 5 years with the state.

  1. Review of 2022-2023 Plan Data - Mr. Adams 

Goal 1 (reading) - did not achieve goal; decreased by 1% instead of growing by 2%

Goal 2 (math) - achieved goal; increased by 3%

Goal 3 (DIBELS) - achieved goal; 68% of students achieved typical or above growth as monitored by pathways of progress
