1st Grade- Miss Eby

Hello! My name is Ms.Eby. I was born in Utah, however, I moved to Tennessee when I was 13 and lived there until I moved back to Utah for college. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. I love being outside especially during the summer and also love taking walks with my dog.  I recently graduated from Southern Utah University and this will be my first year teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher and could not be more excited to teach first grade this year!

2nd Grade-Mrs. Heaton (team teaching with Mrs. Anderson)

I am Mrs. Heaton and am so excited to join the wonderful second grade team at Kanesville Elementary. This will be my thirteenth year with Weber School District. I have taught most grades, primarily fourth, and also had the opportunity to be a Reading Specialist for two years. I received my bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and my master’s from Walden University. I love teaching and feel blessed that I get to learn with students everyday.

I grew up in Cache Valley and love to visit several times a year. I moved to Weber County when I began teaching in 2006. I have five children- Stuart age 20; Hailey age 18; Corbin age 14; Jared age 5; Maggie age 3. We love spending time as a family. I also love movies, hiking, embroidery, and finding painting and other simple projects around my home to complete.

I’m looking forward to an amazing first year at Kanesville!

4th Grade-Mr. Walworth

Hello Kanesville Cougar 4th graders!  My name is Mr. Walworth and I am new to Kanesville this year. I am excited to meet you and look forward to a successful school year full of learning, challenges and fun. This is my 12th year as a teacher. I have spent the last 9 years teaching 5th and 6th grade at Lakeview Elementary.  Prior to that, I was a 5th grade teacher in the state of Arizona.  I love working at the elementary school level because I love to see young people learn and discover new things. I hope that I can be a positive influence in your lives as many of my teachers have been one for me.

I am originally from Portland Oregon.  I have been married to my wife Camie for 17 years and we have 5 children from ages 18 to 5.  I love playing and watching many different varieties sporting events. My favorite teams are the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA and the University of Oregon Football and Basketball teams.  Who knows, maybe you’ll see me playing basketball outside during recess!

I look forward to getting to know you and seeing how much you will grow this year.

Your teacher,

Mr. Walworth
