Community Council- Trustland Funds

Trustland Funds

Every school community council reviews school test scores before developing and implementing an annual School LAND Trust plan. The School LAND Trust plan must address the school’s greatest academic need(s). The plan should be based on research that indicates the planned expenditures will have a demonstrable impact on improving student academic excellence at the school. The plan should describe specific, measurable goals the council has set for student achievement, planned expenditures, and how progress will be measured.

The school community council should collaboratively review a multi-year plan or develop a new School LAND Trust plan, not merely approve a plan designed by one of its members. Examples of successful plans can be found on this website. The school community council will also submit a progress report in the spring as the plan is being implemented and a final report after the school year.

All parents are welcome to join the community council at any meetings posted.
